All players must be registered in the division that corresponds with their age. Player movement between divisions is made on a case by case basis in the fall in order to balance divisions or to form viable teams where possible.
U19 players may be moved up to the Open Division team if there are not enough players to form a U19 team.
Registration Fees - Please read all the way to the end, as there is important information regarding how you pay your registration fee versus how you pay your Ringette Canada and Ringette Alberta fees!
Active Start: Learn to skate for $60 (Ages 3-6 as of December 31 of the current year)
U10: $445.00 (Ages 6-9 as of December 31 of the current year)
U12: $520.00 (Ages 10-11 as of December 31 of the current year)
U14: $570.00 (Ages 12-13 as of December 31 of the current year)
U16: $590.00 (Ages 14-15 as of December 31 of the current year)
U19: $590.00 (Ages 16-18 as of December 31 of the current year)
Open Division: Price to be determined (Age 19+ as of December 31 of the current year)
Note: The Open team will practice once a week with possible games and tournaments.
In addition to the above registration fee, there is a Ringette Canada insurance fee and a Ringette Alberta membership fee that totals $88.50. This must be paid at the time of registration with a credit card online.
The remaining registration fees can be paid by etransfer or cheque.

Please make cheques payable to Drayton Valley Ringette Association.
Payment must be made by June 30th, 2024 for registration; after this date, there will be an additional $100 charge added to the regular registration fee.
Installment payments may be made if preferred; for this option, post-dated cheques will be required for July 1st, August 1st, and September 1st, 2024.
If full payment of registration fees are not received by October 1, 2024, the registrant will not be permitted to participate.
A jersey deposit of $100 is also required for registration to be completed. This can be by cheque that would only be cashed at the end of the season if need be. Etransfer can be arranged if if cheques are not an option for you. Please let our treasurer know if this is the option you will be taking. Cheques for deposits can be turned in at the AGM on May 1, 2024 as well.
A fundraising deposit for $400 for each child must accompany the registration fee. If you choose to participate in the fundraising, then postdate the cheque to January 1, 2025. If you choose to opt out of the fundraising, then the cheque is made out for $400 for each registrant and dated September 1, 2024.
